What is the difference between a Standard Rate Card and a Custom Rate Card

Rate cards are the pricing seen by customers when they request a booking from you. You can chose to have either a Standard Rate Card or Custom Rate Card for each customer you are in a Preferred Supplier Relationship with.

Standard Rate Card

A Standard Rate Card can be centrally managed and used as a template for Custom Rate cards. Updating your Standard Rate Card will update the rates for any customers you’ve chosen to use a Standard Rate Card for.

Custom Rate Card

A Custom Rate Card is bespoke to the customer it is related to. This allows you to use completely bespoke rates for customers you are in a Preferred Supplier Relationship with.

When to use Standard Rate Cards or Custom Rate Cards

My customers all have the same rates

Use a Standard Rate Card. Updating your standard rate card once will update the rates

My customers all have similar rates

Use a Custom Rate card, as this allows individual rates per customer. If your rates are similar, you have the opportunity to use the Standard Rate card as a template, then to edit the individual rates required.

My customers all have unique rates

Use a Custom Rate Card.
