What is a Rate Card

One of the benefits of being in a Preferred Supplier Relationship is giving your customers the ability to request a booking, without the need for you to provide a quote for each request.

This allows your customers to book quickly and easily, and for you to quickly respond to booking requests, without the need to provide pricing each time.

Rate Cards are the way you can show your agreed pricing with a customer who you are in a preferred supplier relationship with.

How are Rate Cards created?

When you setup your account, you will be asked to provide rates for your Standard Rate Card. This is a default template that can be applied to any or all customers.

What is the structure of a Rate Card

In it's current form, a Rate Card is comprised of:

  • Job Types (Inventories, Interims, Check Outs)
  • Number of Bedrooms
  • Furnishing Type (not included for Interim Visits)

This is a hardcoded structure that offers you the flexibility to charge based on the job type, size of property and furnishing status. It also provides you with relevant information on that particular booking and property.

What happens if I do not provide a rate?

You'll be asked to provide rates for all of the options and configurations listed above.

However, if you do not want to formalise pricing for a particular rate, you can leave the rate as £0.00.

In this case, the customer will be able to Request a Quote for that particular booking, allowing you to enter a bespoke price, or decline the quote if it is a piece of work you do not want to fulfil.
